anyways, funny observation...i think every bride in bilbao gets her picture made in front of the guggenheim. not only is it the bride, but she is always with her groom in their full wedding day get-up. most of the couples i saw today (saturday) which is understandable. but some have been in the evening during the week. all this makes me wonder, do they come straight to the guggenheim post-wedding? (i've never seen bridesmaids and family and yadayada with them so that seems strange.) also, i wonder if this means the spanish don't have the same superstitions as in america in that the groom can't see the bride in her dress before the wedding. so does that mean they both get all gussied up before the wedding to do the picture, or after, or just on a random day for the fun of it. who knows. oddly enough around 1 today i saw many a bride and groom. one or a few of them must have just had a wedding because there were tons of wedding attired people walking around the area. it's funny to me that the spanish get married so early in the day, especially when they do everything else later than the rest of the world. in case you're wondering, this is what i did for 2 hours while watching O play in the guggenheim park, i'm not a complete and crazy bridezilla stalker.
